On October 10, six Turkish drones violated Greek airspace over the Aegean Sea.

The country’s General Staff reported this, according to Greek Reporter.

The Greek military recorded eight violations of flight regulations in the Athens Flight Information Region and five violations of the country’s national airspace.

The incidents occurred in three sectors of the Aegean Sea: the northeastern, central, and southeastern.

All Turkish drones were detected, identified, and intercepted in accordance with international norms and standard procedures.

Turkey has a wide range of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in service: from the Bayraktar TB2 and Anka reconnaissance and strike drones to the heavy twin-engine Bayraktar Akıncı and Aksungur systems.

The country’s arsenal is also being expanded with the latest platforms, including the carrier-based Bayraktar TB3 and the low-profile Anka-3.
