MGI Engineering has successfully conducted tests of the TigerShark strike drone. The system has demonstrated its ability to strike targets at a range of over 1,000 km.

This was reported by the British company’s press service.

The drone reaches speeds of up to 750 km/h and carries a payload of 300 kg. These tests marked the first successful testing of a new system with such a range in Europe in the last decade.

MGI Engineering first unveiled the drone in September 2025 at the DSEI exhibition in London.

The developers position it as a system with the characteristics of a cruise missile, but at a significantly lower cost.

The Auterion autonomous system allows the drone to operate in the absence of GPS and communication. For precise navigation, it uses inertial navigation and a method of mapping the terrain using onboard computing.

The TigerShark is launched from the ground using a rocket booster or from transport platforms. Its design allows for group launches of multiple drones to overwhelm air defense systems.
