The Ukrainian company Himera Radios has manufactured and delivered 200 HIMERA G1 radios to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The company announced that the radios were donated through the joint efforts of the Help99 Foundation, WarTranslated, and the NAFO community.

A special unit of the 4th Rubizh Rapid Reaction Brigade and the 97th Mechanized Battalion of the 60th Mechanized Brigade received the radios.

These units perform important tasks of reconnaissance, border protection, and liberation of territories.

“They need safe and reliable communication more than anyone else. So from now on, HIMERA G1 will provide our defenders with stable and secure communications,” the company said.

The HIMERA G1 universal communication system is designed for use in civilian and emergency situations.

It can be used as part of an operational awareness system during hostilities.

The system is resistant to electronic warfare systems due to the technology of pseudo-random tuning of the operating frequency.

“HIMERA can be easily set up via Bluetooth via a smartphone without learning specialized programs,” the company said.

Previously, the first tests of the new Himera G1 Pro L radio were conducted in Ukraine with the participation of the military.

The features of HIMERA G1 Pro include pseudo-random tuning of the operating frequency and encryption according to the AES-256 standard.

The HIMERA G1 Pro allows voice and digital data transmission, has an easy-to-configure Mobile Ad-hoc Network, extended communication range and a new user-friendly design.
