Janez Janša, Prime Minister of Slovenia, has stated his support to transfer S-300 air defense systems to Ukraine.

Militarnyi reports about this citing a statement of the Prime Minister to CNN.

“Yes, I support this, because this is the equipment that Ukraine needs the most,” said Janša.

“I do not support talking a lot about what we are giving them,” he added.

Janša also shared that he had a conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine.

Zelenskyi shared with him that the government was ready to offer Ukrainians a referendum on changing the constitution to renounce the Ukraine’s wish to join NATO.

“I think they made some pragmatic decision because after they will win this war, NATO would want them to join. When they win this war, the Ukrainian army will be one of the strongest, if not the strongest, army on the European continent,” said the Slovenian Prime Minister.
