The first unit of the Ukrainian army received drones from the Come Back Alive Foundation to intercept Russian reconnaissance drones.

A batch of special FPV drones was transferred to the 38th Marine Brigade as part of the new Dronefall project.

In total, these are 100 kamikaze drones that have already strengthened the capabilities of Ukrainian marines.

The Foundation noted that other requests from this and other brigades of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which work daily to defeat the Russian reconnaissance drones, are next in line.

“Our goal is to destroy 1000 reconnaissance drones of the Russian invaders. The aim is ambitious, but quite achievable. We need your support – the rest will be done by the Ukrainian army,” the Come Back Alive Foundation emphasized.

The Foundation has released a video showing how the marines of the 38th Brigade shot down 9 Russian reconnaissance drones using modernized FPV drones for air defense, donated by the Foundation.

An open-ended fundraising within the Drone Strike project by Come Back Alive started on August 7. Its aim is to shoot down 1,000 enemy reconnaissance UAVs using modernized FPV interceptor drones.

The project covers not only the purchase of adapted FPV kamikaze drones, but also the creation and provision of groups that will use them. In particular, it involves the transfer of pickup trucks, communications, power and night optics.

Shooting down Russian reconnaissance drones in Ukrainian airspace using FPV has already become quite common.

Previously, a Ukrainian FPV drone intercepted a Russian Supercam S350 reconnaissance drone on the left bank of the Kherson region.

Also, at the beginning of July, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the operators of a Russian Supercam reconnaissance drone near the village of Varvarivka, Luhansk region.

Due to the low speed of Russian reconnaissance drones, the speed of the FPV drone used as an interceptor is enough to catch up and hit it.
