The Arkan unit destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle and Russian infantry in the Siverskyi sector

Ukrainian troops neutralized several infantry fighting vehicles and invaders’ infantry in the Siverskyi sector, Donetsk region.

The 108th Mountain Assault Infantry Battalion reported that the Russians tried to storm the building.

The Russian commanders chose several infantry fighting vehicles equipped with protective grilles for the attack.

The Ukrainian military managed to stop them and then finished them off with the help of FPV strike drones.

Then, the Arkan unit started hunting for Russian infantry.

The Russians were attacked with explosives dropped from drones and FPV strikes.

Also, during combat operations, a Ukrainian drone recorded a case when a Russian invader decided to commit suicide.

This happened after a Ukrainian drone dropped a grenade near the invader, after which the Russian soldier shot himself in the head with an assault rifle.

This battalion of the 10th Edelweiss Mountain Assault Brigade is defending the Siverskyi sector, Donetsk region.

Previously, the commander of the BARNI unit of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade “Edelweiss” reported that the enemy was attacking mainly with infantry. However, there was also an attempt to break through by a group of 30 invaders on 15 motorcycles.

“The enemy is trying to carry out assault actions of various kinds every day in the Siverskyi sector, as well as in other sectors. Most of the assaults involve enemy infantry,” the military shared.

According to him, the 10th Edelweiss Mountain Assault Brigade has been in the Siverskyi sector for two years and took up its positions in September 2022.
