In the Kharkiv region, soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade successfully stormed a Russian dugout.
The Brigade reported that the dugout was riddled with holes where the invaders held their positions.
“The soldiers surrounded the dugout where the Russians were holed up and started to knock them out until they were completely destroyed. The long trench line is riddled with enemy holes, and the enemy can hide in each of them,” the military shared.
The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade is currently defending positions in the Kupyansk area of Kharkiv region.
Heavy and intense fighting is taking place here under constant Russian attacks.
At the same time, the assault brigade’s fighters are trying to launch counterattacks on Russian positions themselves.
Also, in this area, the brigade’s drone operators are effectively eliminating Russian infantry with grenade drops.
“The brigade’s soldiers spotted the invaders in the plantations and flew to the place of manpower concentration. They dropped ammunition from the sky directly on the heads of the enemy infantry,” the drone operators said.
On June 12, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that the number of combat engagements in the Kupyansk sector increased to thirteen.
The invaders conducted active offensives near Sinkivka, Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Pishchane, and Myasozharivka.
“Nine attacks ended in failure for the enemy, fighting continues near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Myasozharivka. The situation is under control,” the General Staff noted.
In May, the operators of the 3rd Assault Brigade destroyed an enemy 2S4 Tyulpan 240mm self-propelled mortar in the Kharkiv region.
