Taiwanese Company Presents TORN Interceptor Drone With Artificial Intelligence

In the UK, the Taiwanese company Tron Future presented the TORN artificial intelligence drone interceptor capable of neutralizing targets using both kinetic and non-kinetic methods.

A video of the interceptor’s presentation was published on social media by Unmanned Systems Technology (UST).

TORN can carry up to 200 grams of explosives or be equipped with a net, as well as engage enemy drones with a direct strike.

Thanks to its built-in artificial intelligence, it is able to detect, track and neutralize enemy vehicles in real time.

The interceptor is designed to respond quickly and effectively to the threat of unauthorized UAVs in sensitive airspace.

It can perform tasks in military operations, ensure the security of strategic facilities, and protect public events.

Thus, the system fills a critical gap in the UAV countermeasures infrastructure.
