Sweden has announced a new military assistance package for Ukraine worth SEK 4.8 billion (€413.8 million).

The government stated this in a press release on May 22.

The funding, part of Sweden’s 19th aid package to Ukraine, includes contributions to a range of multilateral defense initiatives and support for Ukraine’s armed forces and defense industry.

“These contributions will strengthen Ukraine’s defense against Russia,” Defence Minister Pål Jonson said.
