Soldiers of the 93rd Separate Kholodnyi Yar Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have shot down a Russian plane near the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region.

Today, on April 21, Roman Donik, a famous Ukrainian volunteer, posted a video on social media featuring the Ukrainian Armed Forces shooting down an enemy aircraft.

A video of an aircraft falling from the sky was recorded by an eyewitness on a mobile phone near the town of Izyum in the Kharkiv region.

“Near Izyum, soldiers of the 93rd Separate Kholodnyi Yar Mechanized Brigade have “landed”,” Roman Donik shared in his message.

The video features a crew of two people ejected from the crashed aircraft.

However, it is not clear which plane was shot down. It is also unknown what weapon was used to hit the air target.

Given the number of crew members, it can be assumed that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have shot down a Russian Su-34 or Su-24 attack aircraft or a Su-30 two-seat supermaneuverable fighter aircraft.

Last week, the 93rd Separate Kholodnyi Yar Mechanized Brigade shot down a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter.

The Russian Ka-52 tried to attack the positions of the Ukrainian defenders.

The 93rd Separate Kholodnyi Yar Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
