Operators of unmanned aerial vehicles from the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes on a storage site of Russia’s Iskander missile system in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The SOF press service announced this on social media and published a video of the operation.

According to the military, Russian forces were storing one of their operational-tactical missile systems in the village of Pasichne.

Powerful explosions were recorded at the impact site. For the strike, SOF soldiers used FP-2 attack drones.

The Iskander operational-tactical missile system remains Russia’s primary means of conducting deep strikes inside Ukraine. According to an analysis of system use, in 2025, the invasion forces carried out approximately 492 ballistic missile launches.

Meanwhile, depending on their objectives, the enemy currently has at least seven types of ballistic missiles available for the Iskander-M system.

For missile strikes against Ukraine using ballistic and cruise missiles, Russian forces have set up at least nine launch sites near the border – in the south, east, and north.

Russia’s Iskander system has become not only a weapon used against military targets, but also a tool for terrorizing Ukraine’s civilian population.

Rubikon unit

In addition, in the village of Vysoke in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, SOF soldiers used several drones to destroy a remote piloting control point of the elite Russian Rubikon unit.

The Rubikon unit is not just a group of UAV operators but a high-level, comprehensive structure responsible for centralized procurement and development of unmanned systems, as well as for implementing tactics, methods, and procedures for the use of ground and naval drones.

The center’s key mission is to train highly qualified instructors in the field of unmanned aviation, transfer combat experience to personnel of active formations and military units, and train UAV operators.

Overall, between February 9 and 14, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck more than 10 enemy military targets in temporarily occupied territory.
