SkyFall Developed Hunter for Shahed Jet-Powered Drones — P1-SUN JetKiller

The Ukrainian company SkyFall has unveiled a new version of its P1-SUN interceptor drone, designed to combat jet-powered drones.

The company reported this to Militarnyi.

The new version, dubbed JetKiller, was first demonstrated at the Farnborough International Airshow.

The interceptor can reach speeds of up to 370 km/h, has a range of up to 30 km, can operate at altitudes of up to 9,000 meters, remain airborne for up to 15 minutes, and is equipped with a 500-gram warhead.

According to the developers, during straight-line flight, the power plant and other systems do not overheat in any of the operating modes.

The P1-SUN JetKiller is available in several configurations: with a daytime or nighttime analog or digital camera, as well as in a version with an artificial intelligence module for automatic target detection, tracking, and capture.

The AI-based terminal guidance system, developed by the SkyFall R&D team, enables the interceptor to detect and engage enemy targets faster than a human can react at ranges of up to 1 kilometer.

The AI module automatically performs target detection, tracking, and lock-on, allowing the operator to act faster and more accurately even in challenging combat conditions.

Thanks to the remote control system developed by the company, the P1-SUN JetKiller can be remotely controlled from anywhere in the world.

“The P1-SUN JetKiller is part of the SkyFall strategic initiative to create a new generation of fully autonomous unmanned systems. The company is developing a unified ecosystem in which SkyFall drones will be able to exchange data and independently detect, identify, and engage targets,” the company stated.

Currently, the P1-SUN JetKiller is completing combat testing and has already demonstrated successful interceptions of Shahed-type kamikaze jet drones.

The company has also begun training crews for the new interceptor drone at its academy.

Mass production is scheduled to begin in August 2026, with a planned production capacity of up to 50,000 units per month.

It should be noted that even standard P1-SUN drones have shot down Shahed jet drones. Such an incident was reported as early as December 26.
