Authorities in Russia’s Bryansk region claim that the regional energy system came under attack by HIMARS and Neptune missiles.

Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported the incident on his Telegram channel.

The shelling caused power outages in seven municipal districts.

According to the governor, the Vyhonichy district was the hardest hit.

In addition, about an hour before the missile attack, a missile alert was declared in the Bryansk region, and reports emerged of a drone attack.

Along with the Bryansk region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces also launched a missile strike on the Luch thermal power plant in Russia’s Belgorod.

On February 7, following shelling in part of the city particularly in the city center electricity supply was cut off. Local residents report that at least four missiles struck the site.
