Russian invaders have stated that they have come under attack from FPV drones launched from another drone, the FP-1.

This was reported on the invaders’ Two Majors Telegram channel.

Fire Point’s long-range drones have become among the most widely used in recent months. They are actively used to strike various targets.

“These drones have been upgraded for an even wider range of tasks, including carrying FPV drones under their wings,” the Russians claim.

According to them, during recent raids in Crimea, the FP-1 began being deployed with two FPV drones attached under its wings.

A Starlink terminal is installed on the “carrier” itself, which allows it to relay the signal to the FPV drones.

“The FP-1’s payload in such conditions is about 20–30 kg, plus two more FPV drones with their own payloads,” the invaders claim.

The FP-1 uses FPV drones to strike mobile fire groups and radar systems.

This drone is designed to strike strategic targets on enemy territory at a range of up to 1,600 kilometers and can carry a payload weighing up to 113 kilograms.

The drone was first publicly unveiled at a defense exhibition in Kyiv in May 2025, although it was already being used in combat operations at that time.

The FP-1 is equipped with a two-cylinder engine and has a wingspan of about 2.5 meters. Other exact dimensions are not currently disclosed.

There is also an operational-tactical FP-2 version, with a flight range of about 200 kilometers.
