Russian Missiles Hit Ukrainian Army Training Facility

Last night, Russian invaders carried out a missile strike on the grounds of one of the training units of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

The press service of the Ukrainian Ground Forces reported on this.

It was noted that the personnel had been properly alerted immediately after the ‘Missile Threat’ warning signal had been received.

“Despite the security measures taken, during the movement to equipped shelters and bunkers, a group of servicemen came under the impact zone of cluster munitions,” the statement said.

At present, it is known that one serviceman was killed and eleven others sustained injuries of varying severity. An additional twelve servicemen have sought medical assistance with complaints of acoustic trauma and acute stress.

“Emergency services are working at the site. The wounded are receiving all necessary medical assistance promptly,” the press service noted.

The Command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces expressed its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the fallen serviceman.

They added that, in order to protect the lives and health of the defenders, continuous efforts were underway to equip training centers, ranges, and other military facilities with reliable shelters.

Also, additional security measures are being implemented to safeguard personnel during missile and air attacks by the Russian invaders.
