The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine records further deployment of Russian forces to the territory of Belarus.
This was mentioned in the UAF General Staff’s morning briefing on October 30, 2022.
“October 26 marked the arrival of the military equipment echelon from the Russian Federation at the railway station of the Brest. So-called Kadyrovites were among the arrived members of the armed forces of the Russian Federation,” – the statement said.
In addition, Russian troops are seen in the settlements of Brest and Malorita.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasizes that the threat of missile strikes and launches of kamikaze drones from Belarus remains.
The Russian troops’ activity on the territory of Belarus is also recorded by the Belarusian Gayun monitoring group’s analysts.
Among other things, a train filled with Russian equipment and personnel, which moved from the Pukhovichi railway station to the Osipovichi-1 station, was recorded.
The echelon included two BREM-1s, four 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled guns, two KamAZ mobile cranes, four KamAZ trucks, three fuel trucks, three KamAZ (Kung), three BTR-80s, six tented KamAZ, two tented Urals trucks, UAZ Patriot, two MLRSs, two cargo train cars, and six passenger train cars.
Another echelon was unloaded at the Ozerishche station. It included PZM-2, three Cayman MBTS, five BMP-2s, two BRDM-2s, MT-LB, two 9K35 Strela-10 SAMs, two 2S6 Tunguska SAMs, seven Т-72B3 tanks, and three passenger train cars.
The movement of equipment on the roads of Belarus and activity at airfields is also being recorded.
It was previously reported that between March and September 2022, 65,089 tons of ammunition were exported by rail from Belarus to the Russian Federation.
