Russia has broken the ceasefire and continues attacks and assaults along the entire front line.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in his morning address.

According to him, since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have launched almost 30 assault operations. During the night and morning, aircraft conducted more than 20 strikes, using over 70 guided glide bombs (KABs).

In addition, Russian forces actively used strike drones — the Defense Forces of Ukraine neutralized 89 UAVs.

As of 10:00 am, the total number of ceasefire violations reached 1,820. This includes shelling, attempted assaults, air strikes, and drone attacks of various types.

At the same time, the 7th Rapid Response Corps reported that in its area of responsibility, Russian forces carried out eight attacks, six of them air strikes with guided bombs. Ukrainian units also repelled three assaults.

Militarnyi previously reported that Russia launched a combined strike on Ukraine despite the declared ceasefire, which came into effect at midnight on May 6.

On the morning of May 6, 2026, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs. According to official information from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the strikes were carried out in several waves. In addition, drones were directed toward Kryvyi Rih.
