Servicemembers of the Ronin unmanned systems battalion of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade discovered a hangar containing five Russian armored vehicles and set it on fire.
The unit published footage of the strike on its Telegram channel.
“Our pilots located a hangar with enemy equipment and destroyed it. Vehicles that were intended to be used against our forces were turned into scrap metal,” the unit said.
The exact location of the strike was not disclosed, but the Ronin battalion is known to be operating in the Zaporizhzhia sector of the front line.
According to the video, during a search mission, one of the unit’s fiber-optic drones identified a hangar where Russian forces had concealed five heavy armored vehicles, including tanks and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles.
The vehicles were reportedly protected by hedgehog-type metal barriers and multiple electronic warfare systems.
After the target was identified, the unit launched at least seven FPV drones, eventually triggering a fire inside the hangar.
Battle damage assessment was conducted using a reconnaissance drone, though the full extent of the damage has not yet been confirmed.
