Flight Range of Up to 70 km and 3 kg Payload: EDRONE Presents Zipper Strike Drone

Ukrainian manufacturer EDRONE has unveiled its new Zipper strike drone.

This was reported by the manufacturer.

The company views the Zipper as an affordable mid-strike drone for mass deployment.

According to the developer’s statement, the drone will have a payload of about 3 kg and a flight range of up to 70 km.

The UAV features a modular, aircraft-style design with a large straight wing, an open tubular frame, and a raised tail unit.

It is equipped with two electric motors with propellers located on the wing pylons, while the central section houses electronics, antennas, and interchangeable equipment modules.

The developer stated that the certification process will begin shortly, and upon successful completion, the transition to mass production will take place.

The drone resembles another Ukrainian kamikaze UAV, the Blyskavka, which was developed based on an analysis of a captured Russian Molniya drone in 2025.
