The German company Quantum Systems has announced plans to create two new joint ventures under the “Build with Ukraine” initiative.
The company’s press service shared this information with Militarnyi.
According to the company, the new venture, Quantum WIY Industries (QWI), established in partnership with the Ukrainian firm WIY Drones, will focus on strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.
Meanwhile, another venture – Quantum Tencore Industries (QTI), established in cooperation with Tencore – will focus on the production of unmanned ground systems.
The expansion of cooperation with Ukraine’s defense industry has been made possible by the prior success of the joint venture Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI), created together with Frontline Robotics.
QWI will work on developing and scaling air defense capabilities, particularly in interceptor drones and related technologies.
Its establishment comes amid a large-scale order – the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine have tasked Quantum Systems with supplying 15,000 STRILA interceptor drones.
As part of its partnership with Tencore, QTI will focus on expanding the production of combat-proven unmanned ground systems.
Overall, this initiative is part of Quantum Systems’ broader strategy to build a multi-domain portfolio and integrate aerial and ground solutions into a unified, combat-tested technological ecosystem.
It is worth noting that Quantum Systems had previously announced plans to open two new enterprises.
Earlier reports also indicated that the European company Destinus, which manufactures Ruta missiles, and Germany’s Quantum Systems are integrating their systems into a single operational framework to accelerate operations for European and allied forces.
