Ptashka Drones Equips Its FPV Drones With Microphones and Multizhdun Feature

Ukrainian company Ptashka Drones has equipped all of its FPV drones with microphones and integrated the Multizhdun feature.

The update allows operators to detect enemy equipment and personnel by sound, the company told Militarnyi.

The module provides high sensitivity for detecting potential targets at a considerable distance from the ambush position.

“From a distance of 200 meters, the microphone clearly picks up the sound of a vehicle traveling along the road,” a Ptashka Drones representative said.

The Multizhdun feature allows an unlimited number of UAVs in standby mode to be connected to a single ground control station.

The system is designed to ensure clear separation of communication and alert channels between connected drones.

“Operators can control and listen to what is happening through headphones on one selected drone, while the others display a light indication showing the volume level,” the company explained.

The drone’s standby time depends on its variant, battery capacity, and flight range.

For example, the Ptashka 15-O-30km model can remain in ambush mode for up to five hours after landing 25 km from the operator.

It is worth noting that in May, Postup Solutions unveiled the autonomous Scan Horizon counter-FPV drone system equipped with a net launcher from Ptashka Drones.

Scan Horizon combines several types of sensors, including acoustic, visual, and radar.

This combination has enabled the developers to significantly reduce false alarms while improving the system’s reliability and accuracy.
