Powerful Detonation: Armed Forces of Ukraine Destroy Warehouse With Thermobaric Munitions In Donetsk Region

On the night of February 28, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a Russian warehouse with thermobaric ammunition.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on this and a video was released.

The facility was located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.

The short video published shows a powerful detonation of the ammunition and the resulting fire.

After the explosions, debris and the ammunition itself flew tens of meters away from the facility.

The analysts from the Dnipro OSINT group ⟨Garbuz⟩ found out that the occupiers had set up that warehouse on the territory of a mine in Selydove.

The military did not disclose what weapons had been used to hit the Russian ammunition depot on the temporarily occupied territory.

The General Staff also reported that at night, the Defense Forces had struck three more important facilities of the Russian occupiers.

In particular, the Ilskiy Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai, which is involved in supplying the Russian occupation army. The results of the damage are being clarified.

Previously, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted a precision strike on the positions of the Russian invaders in the Zaporizhzhia region. It is reported that the position had belonged to the 2nd Motorized Rifle Battalion of the 64th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian army.

As a result of this operation, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the location of military personnel, fortifications, and a site for launching drones of the Russian invaders were destroyed.
