Poroshenko Handed Over 92 ATVs to the Military

Petro Poroshenko’s team has sent almost a hundred ATVs to the frontline. The ATVs will increase the mobility of the Ukrainian Defense Forces at the front.

According to the MP, the cost of this batch amounted to UAH 15 million.

“Our team has long been supplying ATVs to the Defense Forces – marines, paratroopers, airmobile brigades and rifle battalions. They have even been on a business trip abroad. In total, we have supplied equipment worth more than UAH 30 million,” Poroshenko said.

This time, 92 ATVs were delivered to the military: 57 cargo and 35 utility vehicles.

The ATVs help Ukrainian defenders on the front line in several ways.

Firstly, they are used for reconnaissance and patrolling – to detect and track enemy forces.

This allows for better situational awareness and planning of further actions.

Secondly, the ATVs ensure prompt delivery of cargo – weapons, ammunition, and food – directly to the front line.

Thirdly, they are used to evacuate the wounded and dead from the combat zone, which helps to save soldiers’ lives.

In turn, the Russian invaders also actively use ATVs during assaults on Ukrainian positions.

Recently, during one of these unsuccessful assaults by Russians on an ATV, one Ukrainian soldier managed to capture four invaders.

Russian invaders on ATVs are also trying to occupy villages on the border of the Sumy region.
