Poland has received an additional nine Homar-K multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) launchers, according to Defence24.pl.

The newly delivered launchers arrived from South Korea and will be mounted on Polish-made Jelcz 882.57 8×8 chassis.

Once the integration of fire control and communications systems is completed, the launchers will be handed over to the Polish Armed Forces.

This is the second known delivery of Homar-K systems in June.

The previous batch of nine launchers was reported earlier this month, though that shipment likely arrived in late May. For security reasons, Polish officials delayed the public disclosure of both deliveries.

In total, South Korea has so far delivered 126 modular components for the Homar-K system.

Homar-K is a Polish version of the South Korean K239 Chunmoo MLRS. It combines the Korean launcher system with Poland’s domestic Jelcz truck platform and integrates the Polish Topaz fire control and communications suite.

Each launcher can be fitted with containers for various types of guided and unguided munitions, including short-range ballistic missiles. The modular design enables rapid reloading, with full replacement of launch containers taking approximately seven minutes.
