The United States has committed approximately $6 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the Biden Administration.
This was reported by the Pentagon press service.
The US Department of Defense published a fact sheet listing weapons, military vehicles, ammunition, and other equipment provided to Ukraine as defense assistance. The total cost of the aid is $6.3 billion.
That includes approximately $5.6 billion worth of assistance allocated to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s unprovoked invasion on February 24.
On June 15, the United States announced $1 billion in additional security assistance for Ukraine.
The United States also continues to work with its allies and partners to identify and provide Ukraine with additional capabilities to defend itself.
In total, since 2014, the United States has allocated more than $8.3 billion in security assistance to Ukraine.
Ukraine will also receive spare barrels from Canada to maintain the M777 artillery systems.
French President Emmanuel Macron said that Paris will donate six CAESAR ACS to Ukraine.
Britain purchased M109 ACSs from a private Belgian company for Ukraine.
Ukraine received four Mi-17 multipurpose transport helicopters, one Mi-2, and 122mm ammunition for Grad MLRS from Slovakia.
Slovenia has supplied ammunition, Kalashnikov assault rifles, and 35 BMPs to Ukraine.
