OSINT investigators have identified the members of the Iskander missile system crew eliminated in Russia’s Bryansk region.
The findings were shared by open-source researcher Necro Mancer on the social media platform X, as well as by the website Потери.нет.
In total, the identities of two Russian servicemen have been confirmed. They were killed in a strike targeting an Iskander tactical missile system belonging to the 26th Rocket Brigade on June 5, 2025.
The first identified serviceman is Senior Lieutenant Ivan Vitalyevich Nerozin, born in 1998. He joined the Russian army and took part in terrorist missile strikes targeting civilians and cities across Ukraine.
Nerozin was originally from the city of Belgorod. After finishing school, he enrolled at the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy in St. Petersburg. According to the website of the school he attended (Belgorod School No. 36), in November 2022 he “stood up to defend the Motherland” by joining Russia’s war of occupation against Ukraine.
The second identified Russian serviceman is Oleg Sergeyevich Podozerov, 45 years old, born in 1979, from the city of Luga in the Leningrad Oblast. He held the rank of lieutenant colonel and was also part of the Iskander missile system crew from the 26th Rocket Brigade (military unit 54006).
It’s worth noting that, according to the published data, at least eight Russian servicemen were killed and another five wounded in the strike on the Iskander system in the Bryansk region.
The destruction of the enemy missile system took place on June 5, 2025, when the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced a missile strike on an Iskander missile system in the Bryansk region, carried out in coordination with the Security Service of Ukraine.
The agency reported that a missile launcher from the 26th Rocket Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces had been detected in the area of the city of Klintsy in the Bryansk region. The launchers were discovered while preparing to strike one of the Ukrainian settlements—most likely Kyiv.
The site of the strike was geolocated by the author of the OSINTtechnical blog approximately 40 kilometers from the Russia-Ukraine border, near the village of Martyanovka.
It is reported that, thanks to effective reconnaissance and coordinated efforts of the Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine, the targets had successfully been hit. One Russian missile launcher detonated, and two others were likely damaged.
On June 7, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in his evening briefing that “three Iskander launchers were destroyed in recent days — it was the destruction of outright murderers.”
