Satellite images have confirmed severe damage to two facilities at the Atlant Aero plant in Russia’s Taganrog, which manufactures Molniya drones.

This is evidenced by satellite images published by Radio Liberty.

According to these images, the strike hit two workshops located in the inner part of the site, one of which sustained serious damage, while the other was partially destroyed, with half of its structure gone.

The attack took place on the morning of April 19, 2026. The plant was attacked by units of the Ukrainian Navy using Neptune cruise missiles, which caused such severe damage.

According to the War & Sanctions portal of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the plant manufactures the Molniya aircraft-type FPV kamikaze drones, specifically Molniya-1 and Molniya-2 models, as well as the reconnaissance version Molniya-2R.

The plant is located at the following coordinates: 47.19987657839186, 38.88151942387608.
