Satellite images of the Voronezh Semiconductor Devices Plant reveal six direct missile hits on the facility.
The images, published by the CyberBoroshno Telegram channel, show two strikes on a production workshop and four more on the plant’s administrative and production building.
The attack took place on June 22. The facility was hit by Storm Shadow cruise missiles that successfully evaded Russian air defenses.
The plant is involved in the production of components for Russian weaponry, including the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun system, Kh-101 cruise missiles, and the Iskander-K missile system.
Within the Kh-101 missile’s production chain, the enterprise manufactured electronic components, including transistor assemblies and matrices for the UVK-208 module, which is used in the missile’s systems.
As part of the industrial cooperation involved in the development of the 9M727 cruise missile for the Iskander-K missile system, the enterprise also manufactured and supplied semiconductor matrices for the Zarya-61M onboard digital computer.
