Ukrainian maritime drones attacked Russian invaders in the city of Yalta, located in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the monitoring resource Exilenova+.
A fire broke out in the coastal area, sending up thick black smoke.
The Crimean occupation administration urged vacationers in Yalta to leave the beaches due to the threat of drone attacks.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a similar warning, reporting the threat of attacks by unmanned boats.
An image of a surface marine drone has been published online. It resembles those that have repeatedly attacked Russian invaders in the Black Sea and in Crimea itself.
It appears that the surface vessel is designed to carry FPV drones that attack targets already on shore. This is evidenced by the design of the upper hull, which houses the UAVs.
In early August, Ukrainian defenders used a similar carrier to strike the Russian Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system in Crimea.
The operation was carried out by operators from Group 13, a special unit of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
To destroy the enemy air defense system, they used an FPV drone launched from the Magura surface drone.
