Lviv Donates Additional 1500 FPV Drones to Ukrainian Soldiers

As part of the Lion’s Revenge initiative, the Lviv city community donated 1500 additional FPV drones and other equipment to Ukrainian defenders.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported this.

According to Sadovyi, this week, UAH 28 million was spent on the purchase of relevant equipment, unmanned systems, and electronic warfare equipment for the Ukrainian military.

“This week, 15 million in subvention for our brigades. We also purchased equipment worth UAH 28 million,” Sadovyi noted.

Firstly, it involves 17 Mavic 3T drones equipped with integrated thermal imagers for nighttime reconnaissance and in conditions of poor visibility.

1,515 FPV drones were also handed over. It should be noted that this number is relatively small, as these drones are very actively used on the front line.

The military received three electronic warfare systems to protect their positions from enemy FPV drones and reconnaissance drones.

In addition, the military also received 20 EcoFlow portable power stations, which are also actively used on the front line to charge electronic devices.

The published photos also show five Furia reconnaissance drones, although Sadovyi did not officially announce their transfer.

He also noted that as part of this initiative, the 45th Air Assault Brigade has already begun using the newly transferred equipment in battles.

Militarnyi previously reported that Lviv handed over almost 900 FPV drones to the military.

The city budget allocated UAH 12.7 million to purchase these drones within the Lion’s Revenge initiative.

The FPV drones were transferred to various units of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, currently defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.
