The Ukrainian Leleka-100 reconnaissance drone has been equipped with a system for evading anti-aircraft interceptor drones.

Illia Kovalchuk, Head of Development and Software at DEVIRO, disclosed this in an interview with Militarnyi.

According to him, the Snich system is already in limited operational use on Ukrainian Leleka drones and has demonstrated fairly effective results against Russian interceptor drones.

The system itself consists of an additional camera that detects hostile interceptor UAVs and automatically issues evasive maneuver commands.

The company acknowledges that this configuration is “not optimal,” as it leaves blind spots through which an enemy drone can approach undetected and strike the reconnaissance UAV.

Nevertheless, despite its effectiveness, Kovalchuk notes that an improved version of the system is currently under development and is intended to replace the existing one in the future.

Back in September 2025, developers from DEVIRO announced at the Defense Tech Valley 2025 exhibition that work had begun on a next-generation system based on signals intelligence (SIGINT) to detect emissions from hostile unmanned aerial vehicles.
