Italy is withdrawing its troops from Iraqi Kurdistan, which is under attack by Iranian forces.

According to an Italian official, Italy has been gradually withdrawing its forces from the Singara camp in Erbil since the start of the war, reports The Wall Street Journal.

Earlier, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that Italy has no intention of joining the war.

Of the more than 300 troops who were stationed there before the war began, about 100 have returned to Italy, and approximately 70 are in Jordan, the official noted.
