Germany will allocate over EUR 10 million to an EU initiative to establish military training centers in Ukraine.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced this during a visit to Kyiv, according to European Pravda.

According to Pistorius, these funds will be used to finance the infrastructure of a full-fledged training facility.

He added that such training centers in Ukraine are intended to ensure the Ukrainian army’s high combat readiness even after a possible peace agreement with Russia.

The head of the German Defense Ministry noted that this is one of the measures aimed at deterring potential threats in the future.
