In July, drones manufactured by General Cherry struck over 16,000 aerial targets.
The company reported this to Militarnyi.
The majority of the targets hit were enemy winged drones — more than 13,000. Another 3,000-plus were various types of copter drones.
At the end of the month, General Cherry’s products ranked second in the Delta system’s rating for the total number of targets struck and first for the number of E-points earned. The company also took second place for the number of targets struck during daylight hours.
At the same time, the manufacturer highlights the results of using FPV drones at night. In this category, General Cherry ranked third among all FPV systems in terms of the number of targets hit.
The company notes that this indicates a significant improvement in performance, as nighttime engagements were not previously one of the manufacturer’s strongest areas in the ranking.
Separately, General Cherry highlights the effectiveness of its systems in intercepting Russian Shahed-type strike UAVs and their counterparts.
The company has become the only manufacturer represented in the top of the ranking by two products at once — the General Cherry AIR Speed and General Cherry Bullet interceptors.
According to the manufacturer, in July these two types of interceptors together destroyed approximately 300 Shahed-like drones.
Thus, based on July’s results, General Cherry retained first place in E-scores within the Delta situational awareness system.
At the same time, the company ranked second in the total number of aerial targets engaged, and its FPV drones demonstrated a noticeable improvement in performance during nighttime operations.
Earlier, on August 3, it was reported that the French company Alta Ares and the Ukrainian drone manufacturer General Cherry signed a memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation in the development of interceptor drones.
