A fire broke out at the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery following a Ukrainian drone attack.
Exilenova+ published footage showing the damage caused by the attack.
A drone alert was issued in Yaroslavl at 03:20 a.m. Moscow time.
Photos and videos show fires breaking out at several locations across the refinery simultaneously, with the blaze spreading over a large area of the facility.
Slavneft-YANOS is one of Russia’s five largest oil refineries, with an annual processing capacity of approximately 15 million tonnes of crude oil. The facility produces gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and other petroleum products, which are supplied to Russia’s central and northwestern regions.
The Yaroslavl Oil Refinery was last attacked on September 17, 2026. A fire broke out at the facility, and equipment damage forced the refinery to suspend oil processing. The oil refinery was previously attacked on August 28, 2026, when its primary crude oil processing unit was also damaged.
