Explosions occurred in Russian Bryansk region

In the Bryansk region, Russian air defense forces were fired at unspecified targets.

According to the head of the Bryansk region Bogomaz, missiles were spotted over the town of Klintsy.

According to the Russian operational services, an air defense system was operating over the town.

It is reported that allegedly all the missiles were shot down, and also some of the wreckage allegedly fell on the energy supply system of the Ardon village, Klintsy district.

Later, the video from the surveillance camera was released. The recording clearly shows a bright red flash over the horizon.

The Klintsy is located approximately 60 km from the border with the Chernihiv region of Ukraine.

A powerful explosion also occurred in Klintsy on December 13.

Bogomaz accused the Ukrainian army of shelling and said that the Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down all the missiles, but their wreckage fell on the territory of the industrial zone.

At the same time, footage featuring the site of the explosion with a funnel and an overturned military armored vehicle appeared online later.

The footage contradicted the words of the Russian governor that the missile was shot down by the Russian air defense system.

According to one version of the Russians, the strike was carried out by a Tochka-U tactical ballistic missile.

This is not the first time that a similar situation has occurred in the area of the settlement of Klintsy, Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. On June 11, 2022, after a powerful explosion at a military facility, a fire broke out in a parking lot with military equipment.
