Strike drones attacked the Khanskaya military air base in Russia’s Republic of Adygea.

Video footage from the area, published by the Bavovna Telegram channel, shows strike drones flying over the airfield followed by explosions near the facility.

Local residents reported air defense systems in operation and a series of loud explosions during the night.

Russian authorities claimed the attack had been “repelled” and said there were “no consequences.”

Meanwhile, independent sources point to possible damage to the military airfield’s infrastructure.

Khanskaya air base is used to base aircraft of Russia’s Aerospace Forces in the southern part of the country.

This facility has repeatedly been regarded as an important element of rear-area aviation logistics.

In October 2024 Ukrainian UAVs had already attacked a Russian military airfield in Adygea.
