Production of Eurofighter Typhoon Begins for Turkey: Deliveries Expected in 2030

Production of Typhoon fighter jets for the Turkish Air Force has already begun in the United Kingdom and partner countries of the Eurofighter consortium.

This information was revealed in the semi-annual report of BAE Systems.

The fighter jets are being manufactured under a contract to purchase 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets.

At the same time, the parties signed a related agreement worth £2.5 billion.

This contract provides for the supply of training and technical equipment, as well as the provision of maintenance services.

In addition, the United Kingdom will provide training for Turkish flight and technical personnel.

The first deliveries of Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets to Turkey are scheduled for 2030.
