European countries have not yet made a final commitment to supply Ukraine with 30 PAC-3 (Patriot) interceptor missiles.

This was stated by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, according to Reuters.

According to him, consultations between allies are ongoing.

At the same time, the head of the German Defense Ministry expressed cautious optimism.

Germany is considering the possibility of contributing to the supply of interceptors.

However, in this case, an export license from the United States is required.

PAC-3 is a key element of the Patriot missile defense system.

The issue of strengthening Ukraine’s air defense remains one of the allies’ priorities.

Earlier, Germany announced that it would transfer five PAC-3 missiles to Patriot to Ukraine — but on one condition.
