Ukrainian special operations forces conducted a series of strikes on Russian military facilities in Russian-occupied Crimea.

An S-400 Triumph air defense system launcher and an ammunition depot belonging to Russia’s 18th Army were destroyed.

The operation was conducted jointly by units of the SOF Resistance Movement and Deep Strike. The strikes targeted two sites — an ammunition depot near Simferopol and an air defense system near Nizhnyohirske.

The final phase took place overnight on October 6, 2025, but details were withheld for operational security. Information about the operation has now been made public.

Scouts from the SOF Resistance Movement identified the exact location of the 18th Army’s ammunition depot in the village of Udachne. After additional verification, the site was confirmed as a Russian ammunition storage facility.

On the night of October 6, FP-2 drones operated by the SOF hit the depot. The strike caused secondary explosions and a fire at the site.
