Ukrainian drones attacked a fuel storage site in the Volokonovsky district of the Belgorod region.
The governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on this.
According to him, the explosion caused fuel tanks to catch fire. Local Telegram channels detail that the site is located near the village of Yutanovka.
It is known that the site belongs to RusAgro and that 12 fuel tanks caught fire as a result of the attack.
It is worth noting that due to its proximity to the Russian-Ukrainian border, the site was most likely used to meet the needs of the Russian invasion forces.
In total, Gladkov reported drone attacks on four settlements, and no civilians were injured during the attacks.
Militarnyi previously reported that attack drones had hit an ammunition depot in Soldatskoye, the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation.
Local residents reported hearing the sounds of detonating ammunition, and firefighters who arrived at the scene were unable to start extinguishing the massive fire due to the danger of explosions.
There are also reports of evacuations of local residents from neighboring settlements located near the ammunition depot.
On September 1, during the largest drone attack on Russian territory, drones attacked the Moscow oil refinery.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 158 drones attacked regions.
Based on the reports from regional authorities, the number of drones launched could have been even higher.
