Strike drones hit a Russian facility in the Leningrad oblast of Russia.

The ASTRA telegram publication reported that the drones had flown to Russia’s largest seaport Ust-Luga.

Most of the drones that attacked the Leningrad region today flew over the Novatrans terminal at the seaport.

A video posted on social media shows one of the drones hitting the Russian facility.

The local governor had previously reported 4 UAVs shot down and stated that there were no casualties and “no damage”.

According to publicly available data, the Ust-Luga sea trade port began operations with the opening of a coal terminal in December 2001.

In the early 2020s, it became the second largest in Russia after Novorossiysk.

This is not the first attack on the Russian port of Ust-Luga by long-range drones.

Last year, on the night of January 21, an explosion occurred near the terminal of the commercial seaport.

Later it turned out that the explosions at the marine terminal had been a special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine.

In the port, the Russian invaders process fuel, which, among other things, is supplied to Russian troops at the front.

The port of Ust-Luga is one of the largest sea transshipment points in Russia, used to export gas, coal, steel products, and more. The port also has a plant for processing stable gas condensate, which is also exported to other countries.
