A Ukrainian drone destroyed a fuel depot at the Borisoglebsk airfield in the Russia’s Voronezh region.
Satellite images showing the aftermath of the strike were published on the Telegram channels Exilenova+ and AviVector.
The operation took place on July 8.
The airfield serves as a base for Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-30SM fighter jets, which Russia regularly uses to carry out strikes against Ukraine, including the dropping of guided bombs.
The airfield is located approximately 350 kilometers from the border with Ukraine, making it within range of Ukrainian drones.
It is known that prior to the drone strike, Russia had concentrated seven Su-35 fighter jets at the Borisoglebsk airfield.
In addition to these, eight Yak-130 training aircraft, two Mi-8 helicopters, and one Mi-26 helicopter were also at the airfield that day.
