A fire broke out at the Nikolskoe oil pumping station in Russia’s Tambov region. The facility supports the Druzhba oil pipeline.
Footage published by Exilenova+ shows the fire.
Local authorities issued a drone attack warning at 03:38 a.m. on October 20.
Later, local residents began posting footage of the fire at the station. Russian authorities have not yet confirmed the attack or the fire.
It is worth noting that the Nikolskoe linear production and dispatch station is part of Russia’s oil infrastructure and belongs to the Transneft–Druzhba pipeline system. The station is located near the village of Novonikolskoye.
The station is part of the Druzhba trunk oil pipeline, which spans approximately 5,500 km and transports oil to Tambov and neighboring regions of central Russia.
The station pumps oil through trunk pipelines, including the Kuibyshev–Unecha-2 system.
The facility is equipped with pumping machinery and an automatic pressure control system, which is essential for thecontinuous transportation of oil.
In May 2026, an upgraded pressure control system was commissioned at the station.

Militarnyi previously reported that in August 2025, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces attacked the Nikolskoe-1 oilpumping station in Russia’s Tambov region.
The attack sparked a fire at the facility and halted oil transportation through the Druzhba pipeline.
The station is located just a few kilometers from the similarly named Nikolskoe station.
