On the morning of May 7, drones struck a Russian military logistics facility in Naro-Fominsk, in the Moscow region.
The Exilenova+ Telegram channel reported the attack, while Astra also reported explosions in the city.
Local residents shared on social media that drones were seen flying over the area and that air defense systems were active near the military facility.
Witnesses also published videos capturing the sounds of explosions in the city.
Early reports about today’s attack said the target was a military unit.
Later reports specified that the likely target was the Nara military logistics facility, which belongs to Russia’s Ministry of Defense.
The military facility is located in Naro-Fominsk and covers over 180–200 hectares within Military Town No. 3.
It is used to store and distribute various military supplies, from equipment to food, providing automated logistics support for the Russian army.
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that overnight, Russian forces allegedly shot down 347 Ukrainian drones across several regions, including the Moscow region.
On the night of May 6, drones struck a building in temporarily occupied Crimea that is reportedly linked to the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.
A published photo shows significant damage to the building’s facade and upper floors.
In addition, soldiers from the Ghosts unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine launched a series of drone strikes on Russian railway logistics on the occupied peninsula.
