Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has announced an increase in military aid to Ukraine by DKK 600 million ($90 million).

Frederiksen shared this on Thursday, April 21, at a briefing with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez in Kyiv, European Pravda reports.
According to Mette Frederiksen, Denmark has supported Ukraine with weapons since the beginning of Russia’s military aggression.
“Denmark will do everything possible to keep on supporting Ukraine in the future. I would like to inform you, Mr. President, of new significant contributions, including almost 600 million Danish kroner, or almost 90 million US dollars, for weapons. This makes the entire Danish military contribution reach over 1 billion kroner [approximately $146 million – ed.],” Frederiksen said.
Denmark has also agreed to lead the process of post-war restoration of the city of Mykolaiv.
Previously, France joined the countries that are transferring 155-mm long-range artillery to Ukraine.
French President Emanuel Macron mentioned that his country is handing over 155-mm Ceaser self-propelled howitzers to Kyiv.
