Danish police detained 141 people during a protest outside the Terma defense company on Monday morning. Some of those detained are believed to be foreign nationals.

According to the East Jutland Police’s daily report, a large group of protesters gathered outside the company.

In total, 141 people were detained and charged with violating the Traffic Act and failing to comply with lawful police orders.

The protesters are demanding that Terma halt the production and export of weapons. They deliberately hold unregistered demonstrations in an attempt to take the company by surprise.

Police initially ordered the protesters to leave the roadway and move the demonstration to another location. However, the protesters refused to comply.

Forty protesters also refused to provide their personal details. They were subsequently arrested and taken to a police station to establish their identities.

Two people who may be foreign nationals remain in custody. Police have so far been unable to establish their identities.

The protesters had also targeted Terma in 2025, demonstrating against Denmark’s supply of weapons and military components to Israel, including components used in F-35 fighter jets.

They called for the exports to be halted, citing the alleged use of these weapons in war crimes in Gaza.

Several Danish civil society organizations, together with the Palestinian human rights organization Al-Haq, filed a lawsuit against the Danish state seeking to stop arms exports.

Last year, Militarnyi reported that Ukrainian UAV and thermal imaging camera developer Odd Systems had signed a partnership agreement with Danish defense group Terma Group. The agreement was aimed at leveraging Terma’s expertise in sensor system development and integration.

Around the same time, discussions were held regarding assistance from Terma A/S in supporting the aircraft fleet of the Ukrainian Air Force. Terma is Denmark’s largest manufacturer of defense and aerospace products for both civilian and military applications. The company employs more than 2,000 people worldwide.
