Czech volunteers launch a fundraiser for 10 tons of explosives for the MIA of Ukraine

As part of the “Gift for Putin” project, Czech volunteers have launched a fundraising campaign to collect funds for 10 tons of explosives for the Ukrainian special unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Explosives and related materials are intended for the Ukrainian Rapid Operational Response Unit, working on the front line.

The Czech volunteer initiative made the announcement.

The raised money is expected to purchase 10 tons of explosives, 10,000 detonators and 10 kilometers of flash cord needed to connect charges.

The fundraising is called “Operation Big Bada Boom”.

The aim of the fundraising is more than 600 thousand dollars.

Following consultations with experts and taking into account delivery dates, volunteers are willing to send to Ukraine a new generation of Czech plastic explosives from the Czech ammunition manufacturer STV GROUP.

The statement of the volunteer initiative emphasizes that such explosives are ideal for use by engineer units and special forces that need special explosives in a variety of shapes to perform precision demolition work to destroy unexploded ordnance or for other tasks.

The explosive is durable and powerful even for use underwater or in extreme temperature conditions.

The Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic will oversee the purchase and transport of these explosives.

The aid will be delivered directly into the hands of the police unit that requested it.

The Czech Gift for Putin project has already sent a T-72 tank to Ukraine and raised funds for the RM-70 multiple rocket launcher.
