The commander of the 475th Assault Regiment’s CODE 9.2 personally went to rescue two wounded soldiers after they were attacked by Russian drones, driving a pickup truck without electronic warfare equipment or armor protection.

The rescue video was released by the Joint Forces Task Force press service.

According to the report, two soldiers from the regiment successfully struck enemy positions. However, they were later attacked by Russian Molniya drones, leaving both soldiers seriously wounded.

An unmanned ground vehicle was sent to evacuate the wounded. However, while it was returning, Russian forces attacked the UGV with a drone, immobilizing it in open terrain.

The company commander, Vladyslav Polskyi, personally went to rescue the wounded. Driving a pickup truck, he entered the dangerous area and reached the immobilized UGV.

Upon arrival, the commander carried the wounded soldiers to the pickup truck and successfully evacuated them to a safe location.

The 475th Separate Assault Regiment CODE 9.2 is a drone assault unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, formed on the basis of a unit of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade.

In 2024, the unit was expanded to a company, and in January 2025, to the 475th Separate Assault Battalion. In August 2025, the unit was expanded to a regiment and removed from the 92nd Brigade’s structure.
