Belarus has launched mobilization exercises in the Brest region, which borders Ukraine and Poland.

The Belarusian Ministry of Defense announced the drills.

The exercises will run between June 18 and 24, during which regional military commissariats will notify and call up reservists.

According to the Ministry, participants will refresh their skills in handling weapons and equipment and conduct live-fire exercises with small arms.

Special operations units of the Belarusian Armed Forces will also participate in the drills.

In May, the Brest region hosted a training event for conscripts from Belarus’s territorial defense forces.

The event included personnel intake, equipment distribution, and preparation for specific assignments.

Reservists were trained to use both active and passive countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles.
